This is web site is home to the research of Douglas Dommermuth, ScD. Douglas specializes in numerical methods as it applies to wave hydrodynamics.
About
I was the principal designer of the Numerical Flow Analysis (NFA) CFD code. I am developing the Breaking Wave Analysis (BWA) CFD code. BWA uses data assimilation to study the ocean-wave inverse energy cascade, the formation of Langmuir cells, windrows, knots, and whitecaps, and the structure of breaking waves, including meandering flows. My research research papers are available at ResearchGate. #theoceansheartbeat
I was Chief Scientist at Leidos / SAIC from 1987 – 2015.
